Bill Quek
Bill Quek is the visionary leader of creative house Instant Replay Productions Pte Ltd. He has held the position since 1993, when he took over the torch from founder, Robert James Herbert, a veteran filmmaker from Australia.
With imaginative flair and steadfast determination, Bill transformed Instant Replay into a regionally recognized fully equipped video content creator that provides turnkey solutions.
Bill is also a hands-on guy in whatever he pursues. At Instant Replay, he has accumulated a vast amount of experience in handling camerawork, editing and his personal passion, 3D animation. A testament to his dedication and ability is his other passion, Martial arts. Bill holds a black belt in Ki Aikido and is an official instructor in People’s Association. Even though he is a trainer who has reached an advanced level, he never stops improving himself.
The same discipline he brings to the media industry. He constantly upgrades his skills and keeps abreast with the industry’s evolving technology. He also readily shares his knowledge and skills with his team members.
His philosophy and approach to life can be summed up in one sentence, “One of the best ways to succeed at anything you choose to do is to help others become successful.”
Selvam Dass
It is not about how you write, it is about how you think. This statement sums up Selvam’s uncanny ability to pen words that resonate impeccably with any given audience. His strong affair with storytelling goes back more than thirty years when his composition won first prize at the inter-schools level.
He was then asked to perform the daunting task of presenting his magnum opus to crowd of a thousand (rather rambunctious youths at an assembly hall. Nevertheless, there in front of a hyper audience, he discovered another innate ability – the power to communicate. His oratory skills served him well to keep the audience listening. Since then he never looked back. In 1999, he graduated with a Diploma in Mass Communications from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. That year he collaborated with Theatreworks’ Director Ong Keng Sen to produce a documentary feature – The Flying Circus Project. In 2004, his movie which he produced and co-directed made its world premiere in the prestigious ‘34th International Film Festival Rotterdam’. It also won the Gold Award at the prestigious 38th WorldFest – Houston Film Festival. Today, Selvam is experienced in the areas of producing, directing, scripting, conceptualizing and post-production with us at Instant Replay.

Lawrence Ho
Lawrence Ho is a multi-skilling, creative and award-winning media expert with over 32 years of solid experience in the TV industry (local and overseas). A hands-on individual with a passion for creating programmes that educate, inspire, and entertain. He was a former Singapore MediaCorp TV Executive Producer and also served at Hong Kong TV International Media Group as a Vice Controller handling strategic planning, content development and project management. A hands-on person with good background in TV Scripting, filming and post-production work.
During his careers, Lawrence has produced and managed over 390 projects and some 3,690 television episodes.
Under his supervision, Five TV program of different genres were nominated, shortlisted or won at various media award presentations.
IN spite a colorful career background, Lawrence Ho remains yet a very humble man, down to earth, and approachable person with an avid attitude to help others in need.
Rafael Bonifacio
Rafael, the master renaissance artist he is not. Nevertheless, Rafael is our very own 21st century artist, with a gift for creating 2D digital art in all its glory. Be it short format commercials featuring FMCPs or long format TV programmes that are recognized globally, Rafael’s love for 2D animation knows no bounds.
His keen interest in animation propelled him to undertake training on Japanese animation in Tokyo, Japan. He has worked on various well-known projects such as Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball Z, X-Men, Transformers and Romance of Three Kingdoms to name a few.
Rafael’s list of achievements includes being invited to be a judge for a contest to design and animate for AXN Animexion. He also worked as the character designer for “Sing to the Dawn” a 3D project by FrameworksPte Ltd and Raintree Pictures. More recently he worked on the critically acclaimed anime feature film titled “Tatsumi”.
At Instant Replay, Rafael holds the fort as the lead animator for our animation division. Together with our team of specialists, Rafael extends his expertise in creating 2D/3D animation for various government as well as commercial endeavours.
Aaron Quek
Aaron is a literary enthusiast who loves the art of storytelling and scriptwriting. Sine young, he had honed his linguistic as well as written skills in English and Mandarin and had scored well in both languages.
As he navigated his way through the ranks, it became apparent that his skills will prove invaluable to the industry as well as us at Instant Replay. Today, his dexterous capability as a producer and bilingual scriptwriter gives us an edge in meeting our customers’ diverse needs. His contributions to our on-going productions have helped garner glowing reviews from customers.
Nurisham
Isham grew up with a love for sports and enjoys Soccer, Silat and Hockey. He has competed in Silat competitions and was even awarded 1st runner up. With enthusiasm to take on challenges, he yearns to be able to skydive one day. As part of our Instant Replay Team, Isham brings to our table his experience in Digital Animation, Videography & Editing.
Young and dedicated, Isham works efficiently with the tasks given and never compromises what he has on hand. He enjoys being around with people who pushes and inspires him in the pursuit of excellence. He believes that every challenge is an opportunity for growth.
Nicholas Tan
Nicholas is an animator with a strong passion for Video Games and all things 3D.
Since graduating with a Diploma in Animation Arts from Laselle, Nicholas had immersed himself into the world of 3D, working on various projects including virtual walk-thrus, building infrastructure, product and character animation. Nicholas often challenges himself to take up various scopes of work, always pushing himself to bring out his best for the team. His knowledge, wits and creativity coupled with his dedication to fine details allow him to add value to our clients’ works.
Nikki Jon Bal
Nikki is a Bachelor’s degree holder and a certified Professional 2D Animator. At an early age, he was exposed to handling multiple projects. His passion in the Animation field led him to be involved in various projects as a freelancer for a couple of years — His clients include WayForward and UK’s Morphline Pictures Ltd, to mention a few.
Currently at Instant Replay, Nikki focuses on 2D animation – contributing heavily with his creativity and dynamic personality. His never-say-die spirit creates a positive atmosphere and motivates our fellow animators. And by the way, speaking of special skills, he’s also a magician! Yeah you read it right, he’s still practicing this during his spare time – of what little he has. Being young and pro active, Nikki stands firm to his values and beliefs – ‘To not just dream big, instead, dream a little then strive to make it bigger’
